In the early Church, the apostles and followers of The Way (AKA Christians) met in small groups to pray, eat, and learn more about Jesus (see Acts 2:42-47). These meetings led to lives being changed by the Spirit and people becoming mature believers ready to spread the Good News.
At Bethlehem, our Life Groups are the basic expression of the church – a place where people encounter the word of God, worship, build community, and engage in mission together. They meet weekly or biweekly throughout the year either at the church or in someone’s home. They foster community by spending time together, sharing life, pressing into Sunday’s teaching, and praying. Your group is where meaningful relationships – Kingdom relationships – are formed, and you are encouraged to impact the world through serving at Bethlehem and participating in local or international mission opportunities.
