SPRING 2025 BIBLE BRAIN QUEST
What is the quest?
Between February 2nd and May 4th, students are welcomed and encouraged to memorize scriptures from the table below. The scriptures are oriented around the concept of community.
For their efforts, students will earn Bethlehem Bucks which they can spend in our scripture shop (located at the bottom of this page). Our goal here is two-fold: to give the students a fun semester long activity in which they can win cool prizes, and to help them learn more about biblical communities.
All students in 6th to 12th grade can participate at any time! See the rules below.

- Students must memorize and recite a passage as well as its reference (using a bible edition of their choice) from the table above.
- Recitations will be for a leader, and can only occur during the allotted time at our encounter meetings on Sunday nights.
- In order to receive the reward, students must not make any mistakes in their memorized recitation of the passage and its reference.
- A student can only attempt to recite a passage once per meeting.
- A student can only earn rewards for 3 recitations each week.
- A student can earn 3 Bethlehem Bucks per week by sharing a memorized scripture on Instagram, and sending Christopher a screenshot of the post/story.
- The post/story must include a passage (as well as reference) the student memorized that week, tag the BeBethlehemYouth account, and include #BeBebethlehemBBQ.
- If a student does not have Instagram, they can recite the verse for a video on the BeBethlehemYouth Instagram for the rewards.
- A student can earn 5 Bethlehem Bucks per week by submitting a video explanation of a memorized passage to Christopher.
- In order to earn the extra rewards, an explanation video must demonstrate how God spoke to the student through the verse, or explain something detailed the student learned about the overall context/meaning of the verse.
- A student can earn 10 Bethlehem Bucks for every friend they bring to a Youth Group activity for the first time during the semester.
- A student must have the correct amount of BB, and contact Christopher by May 4th to receive an item from the shop.
- Shop orders will be handed out at the end of year party on May 18th.
